The Sea Doo GTI Sea Scooter is the big brother of the Sea Doo Pro Sea Scooter. The SeaDoo GTi Sea Scooter can be used in essentially any water. Unlike some of the lower priced underwater scooters, this one will perform well in any condition.
Sea Doo GTI Sea Scooter Features
The Sea Doo GTI Sea scooter is designed for both scuba divers and snorkelers. It can reach speeds up to 2.5 miles per hour as well as go to a depth of 100 feet. 2.5 miles per hour may not seem very fast, but trust me; you probably won’t want to go much faster. If you go much faster, then you are not going to be able to view everything well.
Some other great features of this sea scooter is that the circuitry is waterproof. So, just in case, water leaks through, (which rarely happens) the scooter won’t die on you. The underwater scooter also has a battery length of 2 hours which is very good. Weighing in at just 18 pounds, it is easy to control and maneuver. The lightweight means that you can most definitely use it with just one hand.
Another positive of the Sea Doo GTI is that the nose of it can accommodate a compass or a depth gauge. This underwater scooter can also be used to for people up to 275 pounds with no problem.
One thing to keep in mind is that this sea scooter is not a toy. It is made for ages 16 years and up. I wouldn’t let anyone under 16 use it unless an adult is watching or doing it with them.
Sea Doo GTI Sea Scooter Final
Overall, this is a great underwater scooter for anyone who is an occasional scuba diver or snorkeler. If you are someone that snorkels or scuba dives a lot, then I would recommend looking into something a little bit more advanced. This underwater scooter is great for buying for a vacation that you plan on snorkeling or scuba diving on. Renting one can be extremely costly and places a limit to when you can use them, so it at the end of the day, it probably just a better investment to buy one. All of the other tourists will be jealous if they are swimming around while you glide past them in an underwater scooter like the Sea-Doo GTI Sea scooter.
